Texas Tech hosted day one of weekly football media availability on Monday and head coach Kliff Kingsbury did not provide an update on quarterback Patrick Mahomes, according to Lubbock Avalanche-Journal writer Nicholas Talbot.
Mahomes was injured during the third quarter of Tech's 55-19 win over Kansas on Sept. 29. Reports surfaced two days later that the starting QB suffered an AC joint sprain to his throwing shoulder.
