While Kansas’ recent record might not reflect it, Jayhawks coach David Beaty can point to some numbers that show improvement.
After having one of the worst pass defenses in the FBS a year ago — Kansas ranked No. 124 out of 128 teams — the Jayhawks are currently fifth nationally with 135 passing yards allowed per game.
“We also need to talk to our team about the things they’re doing well and how have we improved, and so we did an analysis in our first three games from this year and last year, just a few things that stick out to us,” Beaty said this week.
