The future is certainly bright for the Texas Tech baseball team.
That fact was proven Monday as freshman Josh Jung and Grant Little were named First Team Freshman All-American by Baseball America.
Jung and Little are the first pair of Red Raiders teammates to earn the honor in the same season. It’s the third Freshman All-America honor for Jung, while Little garnered his second accolade.
Right-handed pitcher Davis Martin, of San Angelo, earned the honor back in 2016.
After Monday’s awards, the Texas Tech baseball program has been awarded 10 freshman awards in the past five years with Tim Tadlock and his coaching staff at the helm.
