Texas Tech fans who were nervous about quarterback Alan Bowman transferring following a head coaching change can rest easy now.
"I'm here for Texas Tech. I love the university, love the team," Bowman said during the university's press conference on Saturday. "I met with the coaches yesterday, really enjoyed 'em, so I'm excited for it."
On the Sunday following last week's loss to Baylor in the regular-season finale, Texas Tech announced head coach Kliff Kingsbury would not be returning after posting a 35-40 record through six seasons.
On Thursday, Ex-Utah State head coach Matt Wells was hired as his replacement.
