Pretty much everything about Antoine Wesley - from the big-play potential to his approach to route-running - was a well-kept secret for two years.
Unless you were a regular at Texas Tech practice, Wesley was just another receiver on a roster chock-full of them. In his first two seasons, Wesley had 137 yards receiving.
Now, he has 1,347 yards - second in the FBS - to go with 78 receptions and nine touchdowns with Tech (5-5, 3-4) headed Saturday to Kansas State (4-6, 2-5). He’s one of four Big 12 receivers among the 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff, given to the nation’s top receiver.
