The Red Raiders defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys over the weekend, and the Big 12 Co-Player of the Year finished the series with three home runs sending No. 8 Texas Tech back to the College World Series.
Josh Jung started the weekend with his 12th homer of the season. He sent the first pitch of the seventh inning over the fence in center field. He finished the night going 2-for-5 at plate. He then followed in the eight on the other side of the ball with a key defensive stop. The junior from San Antonio, Texas, made the final out of the inning with a left dive to field a hard-hit grounder from Alix Garcia and prevent the Cowboys from scoring the tying run from second.
