It was a roller coaster week for the Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team who went 2-2 this week, but through it all one player stood out. Junior infielder Josh Jung started the week going 1-for-4 against Duke. He recorded two RBI on the day with a sacrifice fly in the fifth and a single through the left side in the ninth. Both hits allowed Dylan Neuse to score. It was Jung’s 11th multi-RBI game this season.
Over the holiday weekend, the Red Raiders faced Baylor at home starting on Thursday night. The Red Raiders fell to the Baylor Bears in the series opener, but the loss was not due to lack of trying.
