The Texas Tech football team appears to have secured its quarterback of the future.
Grapevine signal caller Alan Bowman verbally committed Wednesday to play for Texas Tech. Verbal commitment are non-binding agreements.
Bowman, a three-star rated athlete by 247Sports, announced his decision on Twitter. He is the first quarterback commitment in the Red Raiders’ 2018 Signing Class.
“Through lots a prayers and reflection I realized that the best fit for me and my abilities is to pursue my collegiate career at Texas Tech University,” he wrote in a note posted to Twitter on Monday night. “Thank you Coach (Kliff) Kingsbury and (offensive coordinator, Eric) Morris for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to become apart of the Red Raider family!
