Texas Tech might have its quarterback of the future.
On Wednesday evening, the Red Raiders picked up a commitment from three-star Grapevine quarterback Alan Bowman.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Bowman committed to Texas Tech over offers from Houston, Illinois, Louisiana Tech, Nevada, San Diego State and others.
As a junior, Bowman threw for 3,329 yards and 42 touchdowns en route to being named the District 8-5A Overall MVP.
At 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, Bowman is ranked as the No. 27 pro-style quarterback in the country and No. 106 overall prospect in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports Composite.
