As many Red Raiders teams are improving their performances year by year, volleyball concluded its season in late November achieving another positive record. Indeed, the team led for the third year by coach Tony Graystone won 17 games and lost 13. This marks the first time volleyball has back-to-back winning records since the 2000 and 2001 seasons.
After a positive output in 2018, four players received All-Big 12 honors while Missy Owens added AVCA All-Region to her resume. This is a substantial improvement from 2017 when Owens was named an All-Big-12 second team. She was the only Red Raider to receive postseason awards that year.
