The last week of Texas Tech’s football season started with a bang as 6’4 wide receiver Loic Fouonji committed to Texas Tech. Fouonji is a West Texas native from Midland Lee High School who held offers from twelve other programs such as Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and USC. He is ranked as the no. 53 wide receiver in the nation and has accumulated 1,425 yards and 22 touchdowns for the Rebels - not to mention he’s also their place kicker and punter.
When asked about his decision to stay near home, Fouonji said “I’m looking for a place where I can see myself the next four years, both on the field and off the field.
