Texas Tech's 2018 class suffered a big hit.
Four-star Euless Trinity defensive back Cam'ron Jones took to Twitter to announce that he has decommitted from the Red Raiders.
Jones originally committed to Texas Tech in June over offers from Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee State and UTSA. Oklahoma, Indiana and UCLA offered after he pledged to the Red Raiders.
At 6-foot, 187 pounds, Jones is ranked as the No. 20 safety in the country and No. 31 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
Texas Tech is now down to four verbal commits in its 2018 class.
