Antonio Morales of The Clarion-Ledger recently wrote an article discussing Ole Miss offensive coordinator Phil Longo.
Morales' piece is titled, "Small schools and full DVRs:Why Longo can win at Ole Miss."
Longo will be taking over the Rebels' offense next fall after coaching at levels below Division I.
Longo attributes a coaching clinic he attended in the 1990s as the source for his desire to learn. The coach at the clinic is former Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach.
Longo said he chose to learn and run Leach's system. However, Leach has his own opinions of coaches from smaller levels being handed a Power 5 offense.
