Pittsburgh police issued an arrest warrant Monday for former Texas Tech running back Baron Batch, planning to charge him with 30 counts of criminal mischief, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
According to the Post-Gazette and other media reports, police say Batch illegally placed graffiti artwork along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, the Hot Medal Bridge and a parking lot on the Mon Wharf. The artwork has caused damages estimated at $16,200.
Pittsburgh television station KDKA reported that some citizens who frequent the bike trails were irritated by the nearly 50 drawings that included a couple of Batch’s signature images — a multi-colored elephant and an eye.
