Pete Robertson did not give up on football after graduating from Texas Tech and his passion paved an opening for Robertson at the professional level.
The former Texas Tech rush end/hybrid linebacker inked a deal with the Seattle Seahawks, joining the 90-man roster after initially trying out for the team according to multiple reports.
Robertson was named a second-team all-Big 12 selection as a junior after leading the conference with 12 sacks in 2014. Competing for playing time in the Seahawks' well-established defensive unit among linebackers like Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright will benefit the 6-foot-2, 233-pounder regardless of whether Robertson finds himself on the team's 53-man roster later in the year.
