Saturday’s contest is the final game in United Supermarkets Arena for seniors Toddrick Gotcher and Devaugntah Williams.
This is Gotcher’s fifth season in Lubbock after redshirting his freshman year.
“You have to have someone in the locker room you trust is saying the right things and encouraging the players,” Texas Tech coach Tubby Smith said. “(Gotcher) is such a mildmannered young man, but he’s as competitive as anyone. I always want him to be a little more physical, especially since his dad is an ex-football player.
