A college team can never have enough guards who can either handle the basketball or make plays off the ball and drain open shots.
In that same spirit, the Texas Tech basketball team is hoping to add a talented athlete as Arlington Bowie shooting guard Kyler Edwards takes an unofficial visit Monday to Lubbock.
Edwards holds 14 total offers including Boise State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, New Mexico and USC among others. He’s a ranked a three-star prospect and is the 15th best prospect in the state of Texas according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound guard, who garnered a Red Raiders offer back in April, was named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram second team as a guard.
