Dylan Cantrell among highest in WR ratings of returning Power 5 players

Dylan Cantrell is projected to take on a major role in Texas Tech’s offense in 2017, and despite a change up at quarterback, fans should expect his productivity to increase.

Cantrell finished the 2016 season with 58 receptions for 675 yards, and eight touchdowns, for a total of 1,056 receiving yards, and 11 career touchdowns.

As a sophomore last season, Cantrell injured his hand during a record 10-catch day against Kansas State, and didn’t suit up against West Virginia, or Oklahoma.

This obviously had an impact on his stats last season, however, Cantrell had his first triple-digit game against Baylor to close the season, where he had 9 catches for 111 yards, and two touchdowns in Tech’s victory.
