It was another busy recruiting week in D-FW.
Here are five takeaways.
1. Carter sets decision date -- Mansfield Legacy defensive lineman Taurean Carter will make his commitment on Oct. 24. The three-star prospect is one of the top remaining uncommitted targets in D-FW and holds several Power Five offers. Carter is down to Arkansas, Michigan State, Texas Tech and Wisconsin. However, it appears Arkansas has separated itself as the heavy favorite in this recruitment. Carter made an official visit to Arkansas last weekend and has a strong bond with the Razorbacks coaching staff.
