The blueprint for the Texas Tech's Final Four team was laid hours after coach Chris Beard took the job three years ago.
The result is an old team, at least by the standards of college basketball. And a very good one. While sophomores Jarrett Culver and Davide Moretti are the team's leading scorers, all four seniors - starters Norense Odiase, Matt Mooney and Tariq Owens and sixth man Brandone Francis - are each in their fifth year.
Even Michigan State coach Tom Izzo, who will face Tech in the Final Four on Saturday in Minneapolis, was struck by the Red Raiders roster makeup.
