TCU football will begin its eighth season as a member of the Big 12 Conference when the Horned Frogs kick off the 2019 campaign at home vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Aug. 31.
And when Gary Patterson’s latest crew steps on the field at Amon G. Carter Stadium that Saturday, it will mark the start of what the Horned Frogs can only hope will be a bounce-back campaign.
TCU had aspirations of its first Big 12 title since 2014 to begin the 2018 season, starting the year ranked No 16 in the AP top 25 poll. But an onslaught of injuries throughout the fall quickly dashed those hopes.
