Just five months ago, Eric Monroe was celebrating his National Championship in New Orleans, today he has another reason to celebrate as he announced that he’s joining the fraternity that is Texas Tech football.
Back in 2016, Monroe was riding high, he had just won a different title as his North Shore Mustangs had won a Texas State Championship, was the highest ranked safety in the country and third highest ranked player in Texas and had just signed on to play at LSU. Unfortunately, Monroe found himself hidden on the depth chart and only playing as a special teams and rotational player the past two seasons.
