TULSA, Okla. – Baylor scored four of its five runs with two outs and defeated Texas Tech, 5-4, on Friday in an elimination game at the Big 12 Championship at ONEOK Field.
The loss more than likely ends Texas Tech’s (31-24) season. With an RPI in the 70s, the Red Raiders are unlikely to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament Monday.
Against the Bears, Texas Tech was 1 of 15 with runners in scoring position.
Tech left-hander Dylan Dusek got into trouble in the first inning, loading the bases with two outs.
