McLane Carter is a legitimate option to start vs. Baylor
There is still about three days until Texas Tech's regular-season finale against Baylor on Saturday, but as of right now it appears starting quarterback McLane Carter could make his first start since the season opener.
Freshman Alan Bowman (partially collapsed lung) and Jett Duffey (knee) have both been dealing with injuries and when head coach Kliff Kingsbury was asked who got most of the reps under center on Tuesday, he said Carter did.
"He's progressively gotten better with the ankle, and this week I'd say he's as healthy as he's been.
