The 2018 Texas Tech basketball class could take a major step forward Friday when coveted 4-star forward Both Gach announces where he will play next season. The Arizona product is one of the top remaining prospects in the 2018 class and would be a huge get for Chris Beard.
Gach is set to chose between Texas Tech, San Diego State and Utah after taking official visits to all three. Texas Tech and Utah are Gach’s only Power 5 offers as the 6-foot-7 versatile forward was a bit of a late bloomer on the recruiting circuit.
A well-rounded player with nice court vision, the length to guard multiple positions and an ability to hit from outside, the native of Minnesota could fit perfectly into Chris Beard’s motion offense.
