Even though his junior season came to an end with an elbow injury, left-handed pitcher from Huntington Beach, Calif., Steven Gingery still remains one of the top draft prospects for the Red Raiders.
During a double header against Maine on Feb. 17, Gingery pitched only 2.1 innings before coming out of the game due to discomfort in his elbow. It was later confirmed that Gingery had torn his UCL and would be out for the remainder of the season. Gingery faced seven batters during his short outing, struck out three and gave up zero hits and earned runs.
