Texas Tech has received a commitment from New Orleans, Louisiana athlete Doug Coleman. Until a few weeks ago the 3-star athlete was not on the Red Raider’s radar but new running backs coach Jabbar Juluke, a former New Orleans high school football coach helped flip Coleman from Tulane to Texas Tech.
“I feel like I’ve been waiting for a Power 5 offer basically all my career, and it finally came,” he said. “I feel like this is the best decision for me and my family, for me to play big-time football finally and I can just get the recognition that I deserve.
