Gulf Shores, Ala. – The Texas State women's tennis team suffered its second loss on a three-game road trip in Alabama when the Bobcats fell 4-1 against Nicholls State on Saturday afternoon.
For the second straight day, Texas State got off to a fast start and seized some early momentum when the Bobcats won a pair of doubles matches to capture the team doubles point.
In the top-seeded doubles match, freshmen Yadira Rubio and Ana Perez combined to win their second straight match with a 7-5 victory over Stephanie Barnett and Ambika Pande.
