CONWAY, S.C.- Bobcats (4-9, 1-2) lost 5-2 at Coastal Carolina (7-6, 2-1) where they started out strong in doubles, but fell short in singles.
"We came out strong today," said Texas State women's head coach . "We did well in the first half, but Coastal Carolina was too tough in the end. We have a new team with some young players. Each match we are getting better and better and looking forward to App State."
Doubles
The Bobcats won the doubles point for the third time this season.
Sophomore duo and won the first doubles match of the day when they defeated Mathilde Tranberg and Paola Landin Lopez on line two 6-1.
