ARLINGTON, Texas – With the final outcome being decided by a third-set tiebreaker in the final singles match of the day, the Texas State women's tennis team edged Arkansas State, 4-3, at the UTA Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. The victory was Texas State's second straight victory against a Sun Belt Conference team on a neutral court.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning a pair of doubles matches to capture the doubles point. First, Eva Dench and Alex Jones teamed up to defeat Victoria Pisani and Sabina Jeresic in the top-seeded match.
