AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas State University women's golf team is tied for ninth after two rounds of play at the 43rd annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, contested at the par-72, 6,278-yard University of Texas Golf Club.
Miami, ranked 11th by Golfweek, leads the 14-team field with a 6-under 570 (285-285). Tenth-ranked Kent State is second (578, +2) followed by host No. 19 Texas (584, +8) and UNLV (590, +14). Baylor rounds out the field's top five with a 15-over 591. Texas State shot rounds of 300 and 306 for its 606 (+30) total. The Bobcats are tied with Big 10 member Minnesota (299-307=606).
