TULSA, Okla. – The Texas State's women's golf team placed fourth at the Dale McNamara Invitational after shooting 889 (+49) at the par-70 6,112 yard Tulsa Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Oklahoma State won the team championship by five shots, shooting 865 (+25). Texas A&M took second at 870 (+30) while Texas Tech claimed third with a score of 887 (+49).
For the second consecutive weekend, Texas A&M's Maddie Szeryk notched the individual victory at a tournament Texas State participated in. For the week, she shot 70-71-71 (212) to earn the individual championship.
"It was a great week for the team," head coach Lisa Strom said.
