GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Texas State women's golf team shot a tournament-low even par 288 to claim second at the Bama Beach Bash on Sunday. It is the second straight event that the Bobcats have finished as runners-up.

Both Sasikarn Somboonsup and Geraldine Wong shot a team-low 3-under par 69 on Sunday. Somboonsup reached 5-under before back-to-back bogies to end her day. Wong birdied six consecutive holes (12-17) to help reach the mark.
