NEW ORLEANS – On Wednesday, the Sun Belt Conference released the cross country preseason polls and top returners to watch with the Texas State women picked to repeat as champions and men came in fourth. Named as top returners were McKynzie King, Kendra Long, Joseph Meade and Devina Schneider.
The women received nine first-place votes and totaled 139 points. Coming in behind the Bobcats were Appalachian State with 129 points and the other three first-place selections. Rounding out the top five on the women's side were South Alabama (119 pts), Arkansas State (112 pts) and Georgia State (92 pts).
