SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's basketball improved to 3-0 on the season after battling through a close game with the UTRGV Vaqueros and getting a 66-63 win inside Strahan Arena. Led by new Texas State career-high 19 points, the Bobcats continue their home stand undefeated.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Bobcats started the same five players for the third consecutive game to open the night against in-state WAC opponent UTRGV. Off the bat, got things started for the 'Cats. Getting the first bucket of the night she would get four points and five rebounds in the first quarter.
