SAN MARCOS, Texas – Head coach Zenarae Antoine and the Texas State women's basketball team announced the signing of Zandra Emanuel Monday. Emanuel will join the Bobcats for the 2016-17 season as a junior after transferring from Coastal Bend College in Beeville, Texas.
"I am very happy that Zandra is joining the Bobcat family," said Antoine. "She is a very enjoyable young woman off the court and on the court she is a competitor. It is not an easy feat to be number one in defensive rebounding nationally and second in overall rebounds!"
Emanuel finished her Coastal Bend career as the NJCAA Division I rebounding leader with 428 total rebounds and 311 defensive boards after the 2015-16 season.
