SAN MARCOS, Texas – After posting some of the nation's top collegiate marks at last weekend's Battle on the Bayou, Texas State's Alyssa Wilson and Dominick Yancy were named the Sun Belt Women's Field and Men's Track Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the period ending April 3, the conference office announced.
While the honor is Wilson's third in a row and fourth in the indoor/outdoor track season, it is the first for Yancy, who transferred to Texas State from UT Arlington.
Yancy earned the accolade thanks to running a 45.
