Wilson sets school record, Harrold shines as Bobcats close out FasTrack Challenge

HOUSTON, TX — The Texas State track and field program left the FasTrack Challenge in Houston on Saturday night with a pair of accomplishments.

First, in the women's weight throw, first-year Bobcat Alyssa Wilson set a program record with a 22.26m throw during her fifth of six attempts during the event. The throw was the third longest in the country so far this season.

Across the way, Daniel Harrold posted the 21st-fastest 60-meter hurdle in the nation with a 7.87-second time. The final's time was a 0.
