EUGENE, Ore. – Alyssa Wilson became an All-American for the 12th time in her collegiate career on Saturday as she threw 53.54 meters/175 feet-8 inches in the discus to finish 12th at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field.
Wilson earned second team All-America honors with the top-12 finish, adding to her first team All-America accolade earlier this week in the hammer throw.
Wilson, who entered the national championships ranked 13th in the country in the discus, notched her best discus throw on Saturday in her first attempt.
