Willie Jones III To Miss Final Two Games of 2018 Season

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Texas State Head Football Coach Everett Withers announced Thursday afternoon that sophomore quarterback Willie Jones will miss the rest of the season after suffering a shoulder injury against Appalachian State on Nov. 10.

"Willie was injured in last Saturday's game and is scheduled for surgery next week on his non-throwing shoulder," Withers said. "There is hope that he will be back and able to participate in spring practice."

Jones III ends his season having led the Bobcats to a pair of wins in their last three games against New Mexico State and Georgia State.
