ISLA VISTA, Calif. – The Texas State baseball team had its Saturday game against UC Santa Barbara postponed one day due to persistent rain showers at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.
The Bobcats were on the Gaucho campus warming up for a 4 p.m. start time, but action was ceased when the precipitation failed to subside.
TXST coach Ty Harrington announced that Sunday's action will now feature a doubleheader beginning at noon CST.
Texas State (8-4) won the series opener Friday afternoon by a 1-0 score over UCSB (4-8).
This marks the third-consecutive weekend that weather has forced a delay for the maroon and gold.
