SAN MARCOS, TX — Due to the combination of the freezing temperatures, wind chill and possibility of precipitation, University of Texas officials have decided to alter the game schedule for this weekend's Texas Classic in Austin.
As a result, Texas State (5-3) will not play UTSA on Thursday, Feb. 24 as originally scheduled. This game between the Bobcats and Roadrunners will be canceled at this time with aspirations of being re-scheduled for a later date this season. Despite this weekend's game falling through, the two teams still plan to play its originally scheduled home-and-home series: San Antonio (Wednesday, March 30) and San Marcos (Tuesday, April 19).
