BOONE, N.C. – The Texas State volleyball team defeated Appalachian State 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21) Friday night inside Holmes Convocation Center.
The Bobcats (10-7, 2-1 SBC) became the first Sun Belt Conference team with double-digit victories this season, and they also defeated the Mountaineers (6-11, 1-2 SBC) in Boone for the first time in school history.
Junior Madison Daigle finished with a match-high 13 kills on a .579 attack percentage (2 errors, 19 attacks). Senior Erin Hoppe directed the offense with 37 assists, while sophomores Amy Pflughaupt (13) and Micah Dinwiddie (11) both registered double-digit digs.
