SAN MARCOS – Despite a strong start to the fourth quarter, the Texas State women's basketball team (7-9, 0-5 SBC) fell to ULM, 58-55, at Strahan Arena on Thursday night. Sophomore forward Da'Nasia Hood scored a team-high 20 points for the Bobcats and dropped 11 in the fourth quarter.
The Bobcats began the fourth quarter on a 13-2 run over the first 4:44 of the stanza to claim a 46-41 lead after they trailed by six at the end of the third. ULM (3-13, 1-4 SBC) answered by hitting two layups, two free throws and a three to tie the game, 53-53, with 1:55 left to play.
