SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team is set to trek to Waco, Texas, Sept. 15-16 to compete in the 2017 Jason's Deli Baylor Classic. The Bobcats will take on Baylor, UTSA and St. John's during the two-day event.
The contests will be the final non-league tuneups for the maroon and gold, who will begin Sun Belt Conference action Sept. 22.
This weekend's trip will mark the first time since 1973 that TXST will compete in a tournament in Waco. The last visit was a 4-0 sweep of the District Tournament, featuring triumphs over Our Lady of the Lake, Trinity, Baylor and Texas.
