SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team announced the signing of five student-athletes to the 2021-22 roster.
"I am extremely excited about this year's recruiting class," said head coach Terrence "TJ" Johnson. "We were able to address our needs with talented and high character young men that will represent Bobcat Nation well. In our first recruiting class, we wanted to focus on recruiting the state, which I feel we were able to accomplish. We landed three in-state products in San Jose State transfer Nate Lacewell, a long versatile forward, a Blinn Junior College transfer Davion Coleman who is a quick athletic guard with a great feel for scoring the ball, and Brandon Love, a talented, athletic post from George Bush High School.
