TXST ends season against Sun Belt West Division runner-up A-St, 33-7

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State football team (3-9, 1-7 Sun Belt) ended the season with a loss against the Arkansas State Red Wolves (8-4, 5-3 Sun Belt), falling by a score of 33-7 on Saturday evening at Bobcat Stadium.

Freshman quarterback Tyler Vitt threw the ball 26 times. He completed 15 of those passes for 133 yards in his fifth start of the season. Freshman running back Alec Harris led the Bobcat ground attack, toting the ball five times for 72 yards and the lone TXST touchdown.

The Arkansas State offense was prolific in the game.
