HOUSTON, Texas – Texas State track and field started its 2024 indoor season in strong fashion on Friday, leaving the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational with one new school record, 12 top-four finishes, and two runners being ranked top-10 nationally.
"What a great start to our season with one new school record, 12 top-four finishes, 29 PRs and 2 athletes ranked in the top 10 nationally," said Texas State Director of Track & Field/Cross Country John Frazier. "We are just getting started and we need to stay focused and not be satisfied."
Daniel Harrold stood out with a third-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles and a time of 7.
