SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the second straight match, the Texas State soccer team came out on top in a 1-0 contest. On a hot Sunday afternoon, it was over Prairie View A&M at the Bobcat Soccer Complex with the lone tally coming from senior Genesis Turman.
The Bobcats improve to 2-0 on the season for the first time since 2016 while the Panthers drop to 0-2. The victory also extended TXST's undefeated streak to 15 matches, setting a new program record and currently the longest active streak in the nation as of this afternoon.
