SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Baseball and Head Coach Ty Harrington announced the addition of Steven Trout as an assistant coach. Trout joins the staff after three seasons as an assistant coach at West Virginia and will work with the hitters and the outfield for the Bobcats.
"We are very excited to welcome Steven back to the Texas State family," said Harrington. "I believe in the energy and passion for the game Steven has. It's very infectious and will impact our players and program in a positive way."
Trout began his coaching career at Texas State when he served as a volunteer assistant from 2009-10.
